MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Primary Care

In need of a new primary physician in central Arkansas? Our providers are now accepting new patients and are excited to hear from you.

A primary care physician, or primary care doctor, is your first stop when you are sick or in need of healthcare services—including your annual physical, immunizations, prescription refills, cold or flu symptoms, a sore throat, minor injuries, back pain or even suspected broken bones. Armed with that information, your primary care provider can help you make the best choices for your body, guiding you toward your healthiest, most balanced life.

Pediatrics

If you’re a parent, it’s likely that nothing in the world matters more to you than your child’s health. That’s why finding the right pediatric care is so important. You want your child to feel comfortable at their pediatrics office, but you don’t want to sacrifice quality care, either. Finding someone to provide medical care through your son or daughter’s childhood and adolescence can take time. While your child needs a knowledgeable, experienced health care provider, they also need someone who will take the time to help your child feel comfortable and relaxed.

Our Central Arkansas Family Clinic offers children’s primary care because we want to make it easier for families to get the care they need for each family member. Not only can they serve as your own primary care provider, but our providers can be the primary care provider for your children.

Allergy Testing / Shots

Allergy testing and Immunotherapy Services

We are excited to have partnered with Elite Allergy Services to provide in house allergy testing and immunotherapy.

If you’re reacting to allergens, how can you thoroughly enjoy each day? Allergies complicate life. Not only will you feel stuffed with congestion and empty of energy, you very well may be putting your long-term health and happiness at risk. For many sufferers of chronic or recurrent sinus infections or chronic nasal congestion, allergies are a primary concern. Because of this, allergy testing has exploded in popularity to help those with sinus conditions rise above their symptoms and get the treatment they desperately seek. From food sensitivity testing to food and drug allergy testing, our physicians will help the patients of central Arkansas.

What is Allergy Testing?

Allergy testing is the process of learning what allergens your body has an allergic reaction to, and the severity of that reaction. Common allergens tested in an allergy test include food, pollen, mold, pet dander, and dust mites. Tests are administered by an allergy specialist through a “skin prick” or one of many types of blood tests. A skin prick test can test up to 60 allergens by pricking your skin with a small amount of that substance. Your skin’s reaction can reveal if your body is allergic to that allergen. Whether you’re given a skin prick or blood test, an allergy test may not reveal the full picture of your sinus health.

How does Allergy Testing work?

There are many allergens, which makes testing important to find uncommon and rare allergies that come seemingly come out of nowhere and jeopardize your health. While there are several types of allergy tests, no test is perfectly accurate. Testing should be conducted by a trained and intuitive allergy specialist. The specialist will ask you to list and describe your symptoms, perform an exam, and recommend specific tests to see what allergens you react to and if they are allergies or something less concerning, like a light sensitivity to an allergen.

Immunizations

Vaccines are the safest way to protect you, your children, and your community from a long list of serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses. Vaccine-preventable diseases can be very serious, may require hospitalization, or even be deadly – especially in infants and young children. Immunization doesn’t just protect the person getting the shot; it protects the entire community. By getting shots on time, you can protect your child and yourself from disease and protect others at home, daycare, school, or work. We provide tetanus shots, flu shots, chickenpox vaccine, measles vaccine and more.
